    I booked Rem’s Hotel without reading reviews or doing much research, so my expectations were as low as they could be. Lo and behold, staying at Rem’s turned out to be one of the best decisions I made during our Puerto Galera trip. Kuya Rem and Ate Carmela will make you feel right at home, as if they were your long-lost uncle and aunt! They even accompanied me to the nearby 711 and Andok’s late at night to buy food. The hotel is located along the main road and has parking available. It’s about a 3to5-minute walk to the beach, and the path is safe and well-lit even at night. The location is perfect, you’re close to the chaos and fun of White Beach, but far enough not to hear the bands playing or smell the smoke from the restaurants. Kuya Rem and Ate Carmela also helped us arrange our water and land activities. They even picked us up from the port when we arrived and gave us a ride to the van terminal when we headed to Calapan for a side trip. Overall, I highly recommend Rem’s Hotel if you’re looking for a safe, homey, and quiet place to stay in White Beach, Puerto Galera. Just make sure to leave your room at least 10 minutes early because for sure, mapapakwento kayo kina Kuya Rem and Ate Carmela!
