    Hippocampus is lively and clean, by the beach. Location is great. Had live music and great dive shop. The facilities are so so. No water provided in the rooms or even a GLASS bottle to even refill,we too are eco friendly . No room amenities at all. Just a basic stay. Not value for money. The shower water was saline.

    We had a fairly good time at Hippocampus during our stay at Malapascua Island. Room is of decent size, had AC, good food and a great location. My issues were the shower’s water pressure is way too weak. It was easier for us ro use the bidet to take our shower! It also gets quite noisy early in the morning because their dive shop gets very busy and we would be awaken by the banging of scuba tanks as their staff transports them. So if you’re a mon-diver, you would get annoyed by it 😅 but their resto is pretty nice to hang out in. They have good food too. Overall, I would only reco the resort if they get to fix the water pressure issue.

    Staff is very inflexible does not allow requests like early check in or late check out even for just a few minutes. Rooms are already on the older side needs to be refreshed or modernized.
