    A very good place to relax and the area is away from the frenzy of Central Thamel . Good for solo woman traveler. Staff were nice and accommodating. Fridge in room and kettle. Heater worked after some fixing so room was warm which is for me essential. I didn't use the TV and I tried to connect to the wifi but gave up and used my own Two small negatives and not a big deal. No bucket in the very nice bathroom which has, a wiper for the floor, but I do prefer to bathe using a bucket. Also the lights are that greenish white which I find depressing. All in all though a good place for a few nights and the price for the area is good .

    Wonderful staff, friendly and helpful. Room is good size and comfortable enough. I stayed in this hotel many years ago, that’s why I have chosen to stay again this time. Unfortunately, this time I found cockroaches in my room and bathroom, every single day. In the last day, there was one on the bed. So, after my trekking I decided to return to a different hotel. Overall, it is a simple hotel but comfortable enough. I didn’t talk with the staff about the cockroaches, maybe I should have. If they resolve that issue, yes I can recommend.

    Very strong chemical, cigarette, and other smells. Hammering noises and frequent door slamming even at night and early AM hours. Lots of bugs with closed doors and windows, including mosquitoes, flies, moths, cockroaches. Power outages despite neighboring, adjacent buildings still having power. Water problems during showers, including water pressure changes and sudden cutoff of hot water. Cold air from air conditioner even when powered off!!!
