    Kids are 13 and 10. Fantastic 2x Bed room with lake views and level 1. Comfy beds and 2 bathrooms. Was able to do self contained for breakfast and some dinners in large well appointed kitchen. The fireplace and views were phenomenal. Walk to Queenstown is 35 mins. Not difficult but cold in winter. Parking was a bit difficult in NZ. You need to pay everywhere however there was free street parking about 5 mins away from the Oaks. No guarantee of parking at hotel which you have to pay and book in advance so book this early and it’s about $25.50 per day. We just did the last day so it would help making packing car and checkout easier. There is free shuttle to town if you prefer not to walk or drive. Recommend New World near airport for groceries. Great little coffee shop and pop up bakery ‘Gypsy Oven’ at Camp st. Must do is the Onsen hot pools just outside Queenstown and definitely recommend the luge/gondola. Recommend gloves in winter.

    We love the rooms and hospitality but unfortunately there was no breakfast served. I would gib=ve 4 to 5 stas if there is breakfast available. Thanks. Will definitely come back.

    Everything else is good, just car park is a bit disappointing, small and very hard in and out.
