    It is located in the middle of clubs so it was not easy to get sleep, at least when I stayed. Howevet it is affordable and the staff was friendly. Loved the coffee machine in the lobby too.

    The Oscar is a small and friendly hotel. The mail staff was very good. the hotel has a great location to all Amsterdam has to offer.

    my friend and I stayed here for one night and got woken up to a mouse running around our room. informed hotel staff and the best they could do was block the hole it came from with a towel. it then came back out and we informed staff that the towel did not work and we did not want to stay in that room to which they informed us that there were no other rooms available. In the early hours of the morning, two young girls were left without a room and had to sleep in the lobby where we felt unsafe. the hotel refused to give us a full refund despite the fact we did not sleep in the room. There were mice traps situated around the hotel so they clearly have a mice problem, but they did not put a trap in our room or attempt to remove the mouse.
