Breakfast was exceptional. Location very good, close to train and metro station. Green areas around. Rooms were big and very quiet.

The location is perfect ,almost neighbors with the royals . Everything is on walking distance. The staff are very friendly and helpful starting from the front desk who gave me a free upgrade and made sure that I will have my breakfast package on the day that I have to leave early to catch my train . The breakfast buffet is very good and diverse not just the usual bacon and eggs,coffee and juice. The staff here are very friendly and helpful and not to forget the housekeeping ladies too.

I had a very disappointing experience at Thon Hotel Slottsparken. The room’s temperature control didn’t work at all — no matter how I adjusted it, the room stayed freezing cold. The hotel’s location was also quite inconvenient, not as central as advertised. The breakfast was just average, nothing special for the price. On top of that, the TV remote controls were missing entirely, so watching anything was impossible. But the worst part by far was the unbearable noise. My room’s window faced directly onto a construction site where a building was being demolished. The construction went on every day from 7 AM to 7 PM, nonstop. The noise was so loud it was impossible to rest or even stay in the room during the day. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had — extremely noisy, uncomfortable, and not worth the money. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in Oslo.
