Secluded getaway in North Devon

Beautiful secluded location whilst very easy to get to and from. Small and cosy with everything we needed. Very helpful and friendly host.

Just a label on the switch for the hot water. Maybe a refresh of kitchen utensils.

All round excellent

Hosts, location, cleanliness and facilities were great. Pleasantly surprised to turn up and find clean towels provided, toilet rolls, washing liquid, bin liners, an iron and mini board etc. the hosts had kindly provided a little bottle of Prosecco and some nibbles.

We all found both beds and pillows very uncomfortable but this may just be personal preference.

Wonderful stay

Liked the accommodation being on a working farm. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. It had all the amenities that we required for our stay. I would definitely come back and stay another time.

Beautiful countryside location. Peace and tranquility. Parking right by the property.

Some of the double glazed windows were blown which spoilt the view out.

A very cosy little farm cottage.

A lovely little cottage, clean, cosy and well equipped for a short stay. Very peaceful farm location with sheep and cattle, feels very rural but only a couple of miles from the town of Bideford with plenty of amenities. The owners were friendly and made my family feel very welcome throughout our stay.

There is no WiFi in the cottage - not a huge issue with mobile data and not unexpected given the rural location - but it would be nice to have.

Highly recommended accommodation

Cake on arrival!! Fantastic for a small family. So well stocked with everything you could want from towels to table salt. Views are amazing. Julie is a wonderful host. Would definitely book again :-)

No washing machine, but washed by hand. Drip drying on the top of that hill was great fun and dried washing in a day.

Loved the surroundings where the granary was situated. The owners were so friendly and a pleasure to chat with. The place was immaculate We will be back.
