Hotel is about service which is seriously lacking here. Hotel is an old building. Some floors taken up by other biz like confinement centre which is fine. Reception staff not trained well for hotel service. We arrived by 230pm and just told can only check in 3pm without checking whether rooms maybe ready or even saying it politely. Still fine. Waited at 2 sofas in lobby which has ants crawling around. Hygiene problem. Woodfire restaurant aircon under maintenance so no point having a drink there while waiting. I asked reception about silver forks and the guy says he hasn’t been and doesn’t know? But he works in the hotel?? Anyhow, I went up and found Silver forks cafe not operating unless during breakfast. No one around the cafe, Aircon is off and one fan operating near end trance. But the smell of food is lingering and not in a good way. Upon 3pm sharp we went to check in and the 3 staff looked confused while trying to just check us in and give us room key. Finally got to room. Very simple room. No thought put into decoration. Fridge wasn’t working and tv remote volume button also not working. Tried to use phone to call but no indication how to call reception or even operator. I guessed random numbers to call but no luck. Anyhow I went downstairs and told them and they said they will send maintenance but needed me to be there to wait for them. I told them I’m going out so they may enter my room to fix those things. Later came back after dinner but tv remote never replaced or fixed but they later came to change my fridge. Anyhow I gave up hope and just had a few hours sleep then checked out early next day and left. Hotel industry is about service. Please train your staff properly. Especially reception is terrible and unwelcoming. Will not stay again. I do not recommend.

I stayed one night for hospital admission. 1st room is so spacious, clean and looks like newly renovated. Checked in at 8 pm, electricity tripped twice and had to eat in the dark while waiting for the maintenance guy. Changed to another room at 10 pm. New room is a bit gloomy and scary felt like someone is watching me from down the table. Sound proofing is also not okay since it is opposite to the highway. I kept on waking mid sleep due to the noise. Staff is polite and helpful. I would have rated 5 star if the first pretty and spacious room didnt have any issues.
