    I was here for a long stay and spent my time at ET budget guesthouse nearby , they are owned and run together. They are just across from the beach , you couldn’t really get any closer however a line of restaurants on the beach spoils the view. Attentive staff , clean simple rooms at reasonable prices , no problems really.

    We were offered alternative accommodation at their other property, at no.47, E.T. Budget Guest House. We like to stay at family owned businesses whenever possible and this place fit the bill, run by 2 sisters and their brother. Very accommodating and friendly. Location couldn't be better, with beach right across from the property. Beware the festivities run by the restaurants along the beach, unless that's what you're looking for. We're thrifty travellers and only require a clean room/beds and a private bathroom/shower which this place provided.

    Been to other guesthouses before but this one is not recommended. Not even a bottle of drinking water were given. It gets noisy at night because our room is really near the main road plus there were shows at the beach, karaoke and only gets quiet at 1am. The beach is dirty, stray dogs, crows and empty beer bottles were everywhere. Lots of cars getting in n out using the narrow street. There were not enough parking space and we were told to park somewhere else. But then another car take the parking spot. The room is clean and bathroom is clean. That's the plus point. Even though there are a lot of restaurants nearby, the prices are expensive especially during public holiday. Stay here if you don't mind the noise and the crowd.
