    We find the room good enough for our rest after travelling from KL. For senior citizens like us a good comfy bed and a good rest is what we needed after a long drive. Breakfast is just sufficient for us but there is still room for improvement for upgrading the service in this hotel industry. Basement parking was provided. Location very near to a few malls Berjaya Megamall and Kuantan East Mall. Eateries are nearby and within walking distance.

    I stayed at Rocana Hotel Kuantan for several days for a work assignment, and overall I had a comfortable and pleasant stay. The highlight of my stay was definitely the housekeeping service by Mr. Khairul. His work was exceptional — the room was always very clean, fresh-smelling and neatly arranged, almost like entering a newly checked-in room every day. He was very meticulous, professional and paid attention to details. I sincerely hope the hotel management will continue to retain staff like Mr. Khairul and consider giving appropriate recognition or incentives for his excellent service. Employees like him create a very positive impression of the hotel. The room was comfortable, Wi-Fi was very good, front desk staff were polite, and the hotel responded quickly whenever I had questions or requests. My Agoda room requests were also taken into consideration. There are a few areas that could be improved: Breakfast was tasty, but the selection was somewhat limited. During weekends, seating became limited when many guests arrived. Around 9:30 am, while breakfast was scheduled until 10:00 am, some food and dining areas had already been cleared. On one morning, only 1 out of 3 breakfast sections was open, and the area felt warm due to sunlight and weaker air-conditioning. Parking is limited (about 13 basement lots and 7 outdoor lots). When full, guests need to use public parking via the PahangGo app. Mobile signal in the basement parking area was weak. In the lobby, cleaning activities such as vacuuming and mopping were carried out very close to guests without prior notice. Overall, Rocana Hotel offers good value, a strategic location and comfortable rooms. With some improvements in breakfast management and guest communication during cleaning activities, the experience would be even better. Special thanks once again to Mr. Khairul for his outstanding housekeeping service.
