    I highly recommend this hotel if you don't want to stay in the common tourist areas like Myeongsong. It's clean, spacious and safe for a solo traveller like me. Love that the room I booked has the LG Styler (smart steam closet). Surprisingly, this is 30mins. away from Ikseondong, Anguk and Jongno. 30-40mins. away to Myeongdong.

    We travel to Seoul once or twice a year and Hotel RU136 is always our choice. Clean and reasonably spacious room. Good value.

    I think this hotel in general is a decent hotel. Cleanliness is above average I guess based on the reviews of other hotels in Seoul but just make sure that you have your room cleaned every so often. I decided to forego room cleaning for 3 days and the drains started to stink which I think is a common occurrence in Seoul but after room cleaning the smell went away. The room was actually spotless after it which was really commendable. To be honest, I couldn’t sleep well throughout my stay here (7 days) as the AC was limited to heater function when I arrived. It was unseasonably warm during my stay so I really had no choice. They suggested to open the windows but as a light sleeper that was not an option for me as well. Also, the curtains in my room were installed incorrectly so they could not be shut completely. It took them I think 4 days to fix so I had to resort to using clips, which they provided and also helped but was a chore to install every single time. The staff were a bit unfriendly at the beginning but after a few days warmed up. What I really loved during my stay here was the dryer in my room! Super convenient and easy to use! I just wish the hotel had a in-house coin laundry.
