    It was clean and a good location as it was near the subway (5 mins away) and yet it was peaceful. Good bakeries across the road and round the corner.

    Good location - near Hongdae but in the quiet side. takes a bit of a walk to the Hongik Station but the sights wake up for the long walk. Breakfast is a mix spread. Though variety dis not change for the duration of our stay. What we wish - Laundry area, bettwr lighting, lounge area with free beverages and microwave. Considering the big space and the cost it should have these amenities.

    Convenient location 2 blocks (5 min) from the main Hongdae shopping precinct, train station & airport bus stop. Multiple convenience stores on the way and two excellent bakeries across the road. Staff are pleasant. In-house dining is very limited - breakfast and lunch only. Breakfast is good for both Asian and Western guests although lacks variety. Rooms are adequate size and somewhat functional. Very limited amenities which are not always replaced. I suspect our sheets were not changed in the week we stayed which isn't a big deal but something one would expect in a '4 star' property. Staff are rigid with check-in times so we spent a few hours in reception waiting because it was heavy rain outside preventing us from venturing out. Again, expected but still disappointing. Gym, rooftop running track & seasonal pool. Bed firm, inroom safe. Laundry services. Room is very dark with subdued lighting. The lights are above the TV rather than the bed so not able to read in bed. No clock. Lighting in the bathroom is very poor. Plumbing noise (water in the pipes) is relentless and seriously impacts sleep quality. Overall adequate but unlikely to rebook.
