    We really enjoyed our stay at Onyado. The bath facilities were excellent and generally uncrowded. It gave us a great base to explore Kanazawa at a reasonable price. Excellent breakfast too.

    From the moment you enter, you will be wow-ed by the decoration and ambience. Though they do not allow shoes, they provide socks so everyone can walk around the hotel comfortably. There is free ramen for supper 9.30pm-11pm and free probiotic drink in the morning from 5am to 10am to start your day. The onsen area is huge with 1 sauna room, 1 cold bath, 2 different hot baths. Overall a very pleasant stay. Parking is 1500yen per night but you can find slightly cheaper night parking nearby if you do not wish to park at the hotel.

    Have been to the one in kyoto before and the kanazawa one was also great. Lovely little touches like ice pops/creams, night noodles and soft drinks. The onsen had a good variety but can get busy, tv menu tells you how busy to expect it to be which helps. Breakfast system of taking a virtual place in the queue and going when it's your turn works well and breakfast is amazing. Easy to hop on train down to the station and Omicho market is on your door step.
