We stayed at Hotel Vaapi Comfort Inn, Naukuchiatal for 2 nights as two married couples. The location of the hotel is excellent, being very close to the lake and offering easy access to the surrounding area. The food was quite decent as well. Although the variety was somewhat limited, whatever was served was tasty and well prepared. The staff was courteous, decent and prompt, and we had no complaints regarding their service. However, the biggest disappointment was the condition and maintenance of the rooms. The property appears to be quite old and is in urgent need of renovation and proper upkeep. During our two-night stay, we found spiders and other insects in both rooms on at least four occasions, which was quite unpleasant and really affected our overall experience. Overall, the hotel has a great location, decent food and helpful staff, but the poor maintenance and frequent presence of insects are significant concerns. With proper renovation, deep cleaning and better pest control, this property could be a much better place to stay.
