    I have stayed at Ohana several times the place is changing with the times in a good way . Some attention to detail is needed by some staff members on the customer service side of things around the pools . Some maintenance issues re the decking around the spas need attention. Above all the staff seem happy and helpful . Value for money ++

    Stayed here for 4 nights, great location along the river. Close to some not so nice bar areas hence men staying at the hotel. Staff happy and very helpful, especially the security men outside. Sadly the omelette ladies at breakfast never smiled.

    I don't want to make any certain claims, but we ate at the hotel restaurant twice (once was the free breakfast buffet, and once was a different date, in the evening) and exactly 24 hours later both times one or both of us fell ill. The second time, one of us required prescription medication to recover and probably should have gone to the hospital. This could be a coincidence. Stranger things have happened, so I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions - those are the known facts. On the bright side, the staff is helpful - especially the porters and guards. The pool is refreshing, though there are rats around the fringes at night. The hotel seems much older than the pictures imply. In our particular room, the a/c barely worked, and shut off seemingly randomly. The door also had a visible gap, so heat and sound transfered pretty easily. We also had to leave the room to stream videos or call home. The wifi could not handle much more than checking email. The location is perfect: right by the riverside and inside the pedestrian zone for the weekend market. I wouldn't recommend this hotel, but I've been to worse places and paid a lot more money, so I don't want to sound too negative. Ohana has some redeeming features, but it seems like it needs a lot of work to reach the rating others have given it on this website.
