    Good service overall. Free drinks for consumers (coffee, matcha latte, etc). Room size is fine, I can open 2 suitcases and eat my rikuro cake easily. Location is great, across train station elevator then walk behind that area. Great for transit to Tokyo too.

    Good: - lawson right under the hotel - shin osaka shinkansen side is somewhat close - new towel and water provided everyday even when i requested for no room cleaning - hair dryer was relatively strong Bad: - room was very small even by japan standards - was sick a week before and requested for a refund as i might not be able to make it for the trip, but hotel rejected twice - toilet bowl was small - hotel is very far from the red subway line

    The entire stay was generally fine, but the check-out experience was the worst and most terrible one I’ve had during my years of traveling in Japan. The staff offered a buffer time for checking out, I arrived at the lobby on time, but I still got charged. When trying the self-service checkout machine, both displayed errors. Meanwhile, four staff members standing just three steps behind my back watched without attempting to remind or help until the allotted time had passed. During the staff-assisted check-out, the staff member was extremely impolite, with three other staff members standing right beside her gossiping in front of me. She used a word like 恐れ in Japanese to describe me, which I interpret as a form of racist discrimination. Aside from this, none of the staff bothered to greet or say farewell to customers entering or leaving. This isn’t my first visit, but it will definitely be my last. I hope the company will recognize this problem and improve staff training and performance evaluation.
