    The place is spacious and quite clean. Near to 2 train stations. One station away from shinjuku. The staffs there are nice. Its hard to find cheap stay with large space. So this place is well value for money in terms of that.

    Great place to stay for family amidst busy shopping streets & eateries. Location is abit misleading as it is in Okubo NOT shinjuku like the name. Okubo is one station away from shinjuku. The Okubo train station is 2 mins away from the hotel which is great! Hotel is very clean, service was good. They dont have laundry coin in the hotel but there is one nearby about 500m away

    Stayed for 3 nights, room was spacious enough to open up 2 big luggage. Love the simple concept of the room with kitchenette. Room cleanliness need more improvement. Saw some long hairs on the bathroom's floor and also there's dust in certain corners. The rest were good. Counter staff very friendly. Love the location, walking distance to subway station. Convenience stores and foodies store along the area.

    This was our 4th hotel of the trip and our most expensive (we also stayed in asakusa and ueno). This was the ONLY hotel that did not offer cleaning services daily. They only clean every 4 something days. This was also the only hotel that charged money for basic amenities such as extra towels or pajamas sets. This hotel also does not offer any onsen onsite, which we knew before hand of course, but for the same price point were able to get for 2 other hotels. The desk hours are also not 24/7 like other hotels. They are from 9AM to something like 10PM. If you are looking to explore shin-okubo or shinjuku, or the west side of tokyo this is a good option, as its walkable or accessible through the okubo or shin-okubo stops. Beyond that there is not much going for this hotel. The ryokan feel that it boasts likely only pertains to the larger more expensive rooms. For the 2 person economy room you get a bunk bed and a shelf with a hallway that really doesn't do much in terms of floor space and opening large suitcases. Mid all around, but if its the location you need go for it.
