There was an error in the machine kiosk for checking in. Good thing there was a hotel guest who knows how to speak Nihongo and spoke with the hotel staff on call to convey the issue with the machine. A few guest were stuck in the lobby not being able to check in. I was there before 3pm and the machine was fixed almost at 5/6pm. I think there should still be a staff available for people to speak to regardless if there’s a machine to check in. In case this problem might arise in the future as some Travellers might be checking in late and what if they encounter this problem like we had and no on to help them.

We had a very good experience being a first time visitor of Japan. The location and facilties of our accommodation is enough for our stay. Our bathroom though is quite small and I'm not sure if this is a standard. I'm not body shaming but I guess it's helpful to mention the dimension of the bathroom for future guests to consider. We are quite big in terms of height and built. One thing that kind of disappointed me is that the room description mentioned an "iron" but upon asking whether it's a steam iron only then I knew there's none. I have a short time left to buy for a travel iron that is dual voltage (PH useds 220V) and this had become sort of an unnecessary item in my baggage as I only used it once.
Location is very convenient as it's a walking distance to the Sapporo Station which is a hub for train and buses. It's also a walking distance to Oodori for shopping.
