I will never recommend this place. My check-in time was at 12:00 PM on 3 October 2026. My train arrived at 12:20 PM, so we reached the hotel by 12:30 PM. Even though we arrived after the official check-in time, our rooms were not ready, and we were told to wait. Around 1:15 PM, the staff told me, "Ma'am, we have two categories for luxury rooms; you booked the basic one, and the higher luxury category is unavailable." They then showed us a ground-floor room that was incredibly small, claiming they had no other rooms left and we had no choice. We sat down, and I checked my online booking details. I showed them that I had paid for a 3-person room with a king-size bed—which was completely missing from the room they showed us. When I confronted them and told them this was wrong, they suddenly changed their story and offered to upgrade us, completely contradicting their earlier claim that no rooms were left. To make matters worse, I overheard the receptionist telling her colleague, "They will be okay with this small room." They were actively trying to scam us and clearly judging us by our appearance. While the upgraded room itself was decent, the experience was absolutely not worth the luxury price tag. If you pay for comfort, you shouldn't be judged the moment you walk in. Furthermore, the location is terrible—the road is very narrow, the surrounding area is not a prime location, there are no views, and it looks like an active construction zone. To add to the worst experience, their double standards during check-out were shocking. On 4 October, our check-out time was 12:00 PM, and our train was at 1:05 PM. Because of the long weekend, Mysuru was incredibly crowded, and we got stuck in traffic. We were already rushing to catch our train and managed to get back to the hotel by 12:20 PM—just 20 minutes late. The moment we arrived, the receptionist rudely snapped, "I was about to call you. I tried calling, but you gave us an invalid number." How can they blame me for giving an invalid number? Am I a fool to do that? When checking in, they didn't give us our room until 1:30 PM, making us wait for over an hour. Yet, for check-out, they harass us for being 20 minutes late due to heavy city traffic? What kind of hypocritical behavior is this? It is incredibly frustrating how honest, genuine people are blamed by this staff. If the owners are reading this, you need to look into your staff's terrible attitude and fire them. Nobody deserves to be treated like this. Never waste your money at such places—do not come here.

I had a very disappointing experience during my family stay at Livaana Hotel, Mysore. Considering the price paid, the service and overall experience were far from satisfactory. Packaged drinking water was chargeable, with only RO water provided, and breakfast was not available. The staff was also unprofessional. I received repeated calls from reception regarding checkout even though my booking was for two days. Additionally, I was initially given an interlinked room and was asked to change rooms on the second day. Overall, the service was not worth the price, and this experience has seriously disappointed me. Thank you, Agoda, for this bad experience. This will be my last transaction through Agoda, and I will not prefer Agoda for my future trips.

Would recommend

No tea or coffee is provided, and there are no tea/coffee sachets in the room. Even drinking water is not provided. There is no restaurant or proper dining facility. To make matters worse, ongoing carpentry work creates disturbance—even late at night. Overall, the stay has been quite inconvenient and disappointing.
