    After visited 3 days Tokyo, our body aches and so exhausted with non stop walking whole day non stop. We couldn’t wait to go for their onsen, we booked for private onsen room two times on the first night. The next morning after breakfast, despite our schedule is tight for sightseeing in Hakone we decided to have one more round onsen at public onsen before we check out. No regrets, early morning there’s no people just two of us with my daughter. We can enjoy the whole onsen facility, if people who are shine being naked in public area the public onsen is open since 5am. You can go early. You can select different colours of yukata that you like from hotel lobby to wear for onsen used. The breakfast hot pot set are so special and yummy. Food are so nice yet it’s so simple in retaining the original taste of the food. It was a great experience. I booked the room with traditional tatami, as we think we must at least try one time in Japan. The room was big as compared to Tokyo. More spacious. The futons are so comfy. Definitely we recommend to friends, just that we should depart from Tokyo early, so that we have more time to spend here. For Tokyo is enjoying for sightseeing, but for Hakone is really the places that you can relax feel like really being pampered stress free. It is a countryside and nice view. Giving one more chance i would increase up to 3 days 2 nights stay here. Can go to Mt Fuji visit. You need to walk around 15 mins from train station, if not you have to pay for shuttle bus which go to the hotel area. You may ask hotel what number of shuttle bus go inside hotel. Quite enjoyable while you walking as the scenery is nice.

    While the building does not look like a traditional ryokan the room was. We booked a traditional Japanese room with a sitting area and a view over the river . We slept on futons which were very comfortable and enjoyed a huge Japanese breakfast. Well worth a visit .
