    You can ski out from the hotel, but there is quite a walk back up to the hotel. Hard going in the snow. The room was a good size, the beds comfortable. The staff were excellent and the meals were really good. The local bus picks up/drops off at the door. The little onsen was good.

    Centrally positioned hotel, bus from Iiyama station stops at lobby. Lift ticket sales at the hotel. Ski lift next to hotel. A short walk 10-20m to slope. Reasonable breakfast and good spread of buffet dinner though menu repeats alternate day. Could have more varied spread for those staying more days. Overall, good choice
