    Decent room size for a traveller but location is not ideal. I was considering this hotel vs another nearer to Susukino but selected it. The staffs are nice and know basic English well!

    Nice hotel. Located next to Watson & a quite famous Ramen place that always packed with people & long queue. Not to far from tanukikoji shopping street, Odori park, etc. within walking distance of 1-2km away.

    The hotel's location is its main advantage. There’s a combini right in front, and plenty of good restaurants nearby. However, it’s slightly far from the subway station, although it is close to the streetcar tram, which helps with accessibility. The service left much to be desired. The non-Japanese staff were not very accommodating or helpful with our concerns and requests, which was frustrating during our stay. Room cleaning was only done every four days, which felt inadequate for our 12-day visit. The hotel itself is very outdated and in need of renovation. Even basic amenities like a heated toilet seat were missing, which is unusual for Japan. While it does offer a microwave oven, the washing machine and dryer facilities are extremely limited, leading to long waits for guests needing to do laundry. Overall, the convenient location doesn’t make up for the dated facilities, subpar service, and limited amenities.
