    Everything as expected of a Toyoko-Inn hotels except the wifi in the hotel is very bad connection and slow. Breakfast is average compared to other Toyoko-Inn hotels but the luggage storage is free and huge. Hopefully they will improve the wifi connection and don't mind stay there next time again.

    今回の宿泊につきまして、誠に残念な思いをいたしました。 お部屋の清掃が行われていなかったため理由をお伺いしたところ、スタッフの方から何のためらいもなく「外国人だからです」と説明され、大変驚きました。 当方は日本国内で生活し、勤務しており、日本の電話番号も提供いたしました。それにもかかわらず、このようなご対応を受けたことは非常に遺憾であり、言葉を失いました。 チェックアウトの際も謝罪の一言もなく、最後まで誠意の感じられないご対応でした。 滞在初日に入会を検討していた会員制度も、結果的に申し込まなかったことを心から安堵しております。 今回の件を受け、このホテルチェーンを今後利用することはございません。 お客様一人ひとりを平等におもてなしされることを、心より願っております。 English: We were genuinely shocked by the unprofessional handling at this hotel. When we asked why our room hadn’t been cleaned, the staff bluntly said, “Because you are a foreigner.” We provided a Japanese phone number, live and work in Japan, and expected to be treated like any other guest. Instead, we were met with an unacceptable excuse that left us speechless. There was no apology or even acknowledgment of how inappropriate this was — not during our stay, and not even at check-out. Such behavior is completely unprofessional and discriminatory. We were initially considering joining their membership program, but after this experience, we’re simply relieved we didn’t. This was our last stay with this hotel chain.

    It’s an older hotel, so the bathroom etc needs updating. We felt a draft despite ensuring the windows were closed, which made the room cold overnight. You have to check in using a machine despite two receptionists present and you cannot occupy your room until 4pm on the dot and not a minute earlier!, so people are left waiting until it’s time. The complimentary breakfast is very basic and there is only seating available for about 20 people, so some guests were forced to put food in boxes provided and eat in their room! We’ve stayed in this hotel chain before, so know it’s clean but expect no frills! They provide toothbrushes, sleeping robes, razors, soap etc in front of reception so you can help yourself.
