Centurion Hotel Grand Akasaka Mitsuke Station

2min walk to Akasaka-Mitsuke station. Very near to konbinis like 7-11, daily yamazaki and stores like bic camera, donki, pharmacy and restaurants. There is free coffee and tea in the lobby all day. They have 2 bldgs in the area and we stayed in the annex. Room is clean. Flooring is just a bit old like a linoleum. Cr is clean also. They provide daily towels and bottled water. Airconditiong in the summer is also good.

We had 4 days 3 nights here. The location is great, alot of shops, nearby subway. Staffs were really helpful. Would consider to stay here again but at the main building.

It's very clean! (One of our group was a professional cleaner, and she said this is the only hotel she has stayed in that passed her standards.) The staff is genuinely friendly and helpful. I can't remember the last time I stayed in a hotel where 'happy to help' applied to the entire staff. The bed was super comfortable, and the 3 person room was unusually spacious for Japan. Highly recommended!

I have traveled to over 20 countries but have never—ever—encountered a manager so arrogant, rude, condescending, and completely undeserving of his position. This nightmare continued throughout our stay. He charged us for three beds but provided only one useless extra bed. To avoid the daily overcharge of 6,600 yen, we politely requested to cancel the upcoming nights. He shamelessly refused and forced us to stay. When we tried to reach the Japanese manager by requesting assistance at the front desk, we were threatened with police action simply for requesting cancellation of the remaining nights. We were shocked and deeply distressed by this treatment. In any decent hotel across the world, and especially in Japan, guests are typically supported with flexibility and understanding when they request to cancel upcoming nights due to valid concerns. Hotels usually listen, accommodate, and allow smooth cancellations without harassment. Instead, we were met with hostility, threats, and humiliation. We felt trapped, helpless, and completely unheard. The Nepali manager was not just unprofessional—he was disgraceful and insulting. He deliberately blocked us from reaching the Japanese manager, instructing staff to deny us access to higher authority under any circumstances. It was clear he wanted to hide his misconduct and deny us the basic courtesy, respect, and service we deserved. This is a blatant violation of Japanese hospitality norms. We are now waiting for the management to take fair and immediate action—to approach us directly, offer a sincere apology for this misconduct, and refund the amount we were unfairly charged for denying our cancellation request and billing us for three beds while providing only one single bed. This is the least we deserve after such a humiliating experience.
