    I specifically booked a non-smoking room because cigarette smoke is extremely unpleasant (without speaking about potential sanitary concerns). Upon arrival, I was given a smoking room instead. The smell was very strong and made the stay uncomfortable from the moment I entered the room. What made the situation worse is that I was not the only guest affected. A colleague of mine, who also booked a non-smoking room, was placed in the same situation. This suggests the issue was not an isolated mistake but a broader failure to honor reservations properly. What disappointed me most was the hotel’s response. They only said “We are sorry” and did not offer any meaningful solution, room change, or compensation for the inconvenience. When guests book a specific room type, especially something as important as non-smoking accommodation, the hotel should honor that reservation or at least make a proper effort to resolve the issue. I would not recommend this hotel to travelers who specifically require a non-smoking environment, even if booking website claims non-smoking rooms are available. Note: Agoda.com, the booking website I used, on their side showed some effort to resolve the situation (unsuccessfully) and offered a small financial compensation some days after my trip.

    宿泊前日にたまたまお部屋に空きがあり、滞在させて頂きました！丁寧な接客のほか、お部屋もダブルベッドにソファ付きと一人で泊まるにはあり余してしまう広さでした！また、朝食の時には遅い時間に設定したため、他のお客さんがおられず、ゆったりと時間を過ごすことができました！ありがとうございました！
