    This’s my family most favorite onsen ryokan.

    Stayed 2 nights mid June 2026. The hotel is located in a beautiful setting in the woods on a river, almost in the middle of nowhere! The outdoor onsens along the river were lovely. The indoor onsen, although we didn’t use them also looked lovely. The breakfasts & dinners were outstanding and different on each day. The service and staff were truly amazing. May we give a special thank you to Paruk for her friendly service and hospitality. We were in the main building, room 122. The room had a river view, unfortunately the windows needed a good clean to better appreciate that view. The room was dated but clean. The traditional Japanese beds & pillows were surprisingly comfortable. The hotel itself needed some tender loving care and refreshment as it looked a little ’tired’ in some places. For sure the food and the outdoor onsen was the focal point and a great experience but was it worth the price….?

    We supposed to stay there for 3 days as saw the review was good . To our surprises it was not what we have expected . No amenities, so many outdoor onsen but was dirty . The food was salty but it gave a big quantity. No cleaning and changing of towels and make up beds for rest of the stay . We decided to check out after a night stayed . Never go back there again
