    What a lovely hotel. Our semi-suite was huge and had lovely amenities. The Japanese breakfast was well worth it and quite memorable. The hotel, being on the edge of a park, was great for orienting yourself as it was so easy to find. Several cute little restaurants were close by (try Dolch, French food, for lunch or dinner).

    Huge rooms. Designer feel to the place. Lovely amenities. Great location with lots of little restaurants close by. Great value. We have been to Tokyo/Kyoto three times in two years and this is one of my favorite hotels.

    I booked for two but my partner couldn't make it. The room was huge, very premium and immaculate. Staff were very courteous, helpful, and I was pleasantly surprised by a very reasonable and delicious breakfast. The only thing I couldn't find was a phone in my room, which seems a bit odd. But the welcome sweets and tea making facilities were above and beyond for the rate I got. I'd love to come back and try some of the other rooms!

    The property was very quirky and cute but our bathroom had black mold everywhere. We complained and the only response was a 10% future discount. Ridiculous!!! Definitely not to what we have been used to as Japanese standards.
