    The hotel is about 5mins walking distance from Kanazawa Station. It's easier to spot on street level (look for the building with JAL logo). If it's rainy, you can walk sheltered underground via the adjacent building. Room is clean and the bathroom / toilet seemed to have been renovated. There is many disposable amenities available. Particularly like the view from the room!

    Kanazawa is a small city in Ishikawa prefecture. There are some shopping malls but the jewels that you will find are in the small shops in the alleys as you visit the various sites. The hotel is just across a road from the Kanazawa station, where the Shinkansen and other JR trains stop. The most buses stop in this stations making it a convenient location to go around Kanazawa or other nearby places like Takayama. Excellent location, good value for money and the facilities and rooms are really well maintained.

    Staff friendly, lobby beautiful. Rooms awful. Smell like body odor and cigarettes. Had to change and then just left. Walls are so thin you can hear everything next to you and above you. Cheap mattress, towels and pillows. Spend a little extra and stay at the name brand on other side of the train station if you’re going all the way to Kanazawa. Until owners spend $ to refurbish the rooms you will regret this hotel.
