This hotel was an absolute nightmare. I checked in on 19th August and checked out on the morning of Sunday, 23rd August. Based on the photos shown during booking, I expected a decent hotel at a reasonable price, but upon arrival, I was completely shocked. The room was extremely filthy. I had booked a one-month stay for medical treatment, but most of the promised amenities were missing, and the place was nowhere near clean. In the washroom, water was leaking from the toilet, and dirty water from the floor above dripped down whenever I used the toilet. There was no geyser (hot water), no electric kettle for tea/coffee, no toothpaste, and no TV. The wardrobe was so dirty that it was impossible to keep any clothes inside. After I reported this to Agoda, they shifted me to a their nearby hotel." While that room had a geyser, it was heavily infested with cockroaches, making it impossible to sleep all night. They subsequently shifted me to another room, but the washroom taps there were faulty, the basin tap was broken, and a used towel from a previous guest was left behind. The most critical concern was safety: at night, the hotel staff pulled down the main front shutter and locked it. The shutter remained down until around 9:00 to 9:30 AM. Only after calling repeatedly would someone unlock and lift the shutter from outside to let anyone in or out. In the event of a fire or medical emergency, nobody would have been able to escape. Additionally, the elevator door failed to close unless the button was pressed multiple times, and most rooms did not even have functional keys. When I had to check out on 23rd August due to an accident, the hotel staff refused to let me record my check-out in the register, claiming it was their "process." Even if I had not been forced to return from Jaipur due to that emergency, I could not have stayed in that hotel any longer. This was the worst hotel experience of my life. I have no idea how this property is rated as a 3-star hotel—it was utterly worthless. The staff gave contradictory statements every time and had zero knowledge about nearby markets or hospitals. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Because I was overwhelmed dealing with the accident, I could not take immediate formal action against them. It is unacceptable that Agoda lists and recommends such properties without physical verification, and neither properly resolved the transfer nor refunded my money.
