    Can't beat the location! There's a bus stop right in front of the hotel for easy airport transfers. Shinjuku station is only a 5 min walk away. The area itself has so many restaurants, shops, cafes, etc. The staff and service at the hotel is exceptional. They also have complimentary bag storage if you have a later flight in the day or if you arrive earlier than the check in time. The rooms are on the smaller side, however if you're like me, and spend most of your time out and about , it's not a huge issue.

    Our experience in this hotel is really exceptional! The rooms are bit small but very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. We have a bathtub and small refrigerator in the room. They also give complimentary coffee, tea etc. This hotel is near Family Mart, Restaurants, Cafe and train stations. Walking distance to Lumine Mall. I wish they have a gym. The price is a little bit high. I believe there are still less expensive hotel with almost same quality but still highly recommendable!

    Understand that its a popular hotel for tourist due to its location but the hotel staff that we met on arrival is not friendly at all. Instead of a warm smiling face, she greeted us with a gloomy and non smiling face during our we check-in. Not very willing and unwelcoming to us. The hotel needs to constantly upgrade their staffs in such manner to customer. Doing self check-in is not always easy for customer whom dont often do it. They are paid and stand at the side to render help and not just show a ' unwelcomed' face. Standard of Sunroute had drop. Me and my group has been staying in sunroute annually during our visit to Tokyo. And we do feel it. No warmth from the staffs at the counter.
