Despite the bad reviews, we booked it—two male business travelers, not hard to please. The location worked for us as we had a meeting nearby, with easy access to Indira Nagar, Koramangala, and HSR. Got what we thought was a steal at 634. We didn’t plan to spend much time there—just needed a place to sleep and freshen up. As soon as we arrived, the guy asked if I’d paid online. I said yes—wasn’t even given the option to pay at the hotel. Then he starts going, “How can we give a room for 600 rs? Take it for 1000,” full of attitude. I asked to see the room first—he agreed. The place was a disaster. Looked like the aftermath of an apocalypse. Maybe once it matched the photos, but now? A total dump. No maintenance, no cleaning. I wouldn’t even pay 300. I’ve stayed in dorms that felt luxurious in comparison. Tap water tasted off, sewage smell if you opened the windows, pigeon poop all over the balcony, and the TV? Gone. Just the stand left. I tried to cancel the booking—Agoda’s customer service was actually solid—but they had to speak with the hotel first. Time was of the essence, and we couldn’t afford to get stuck fighting this. We were on a tight business schedule and needed to move fast. That’s how we ended up staying—because we didn’t have the luxury to fight the battle we should’ve. I still remember how he smugly said, “Go ahead, call customer care,” confident we’d give up because it was too much hassle. And yeah, he wasn’t entirely wrong—we didn’t have time. In hindsight, if we had just booked another place for 1k and lost the 600 here, a total spend of 1.6k for a half-decent stay would’ve been totally worth it. Later when I asked for water, he handed over a reused bottle with the label half torn and filled it from a can in front of me. I didn’t trust it but took it just to avoid more friction—was even worried about our laptops while we were out. Not that they seemed like thieves, just desperate to make ends meet and milk guests for more. Asked for a towel—“tomorrow morning,” he said. Next morning, he wanted us out by 10:30. Gave us a towel then—honestly, I’ve used better rags to clean my car. We just ran to our next booking to freshen up. Not many would survive this place. Even for 634, I felt cheated. Absolutely pathetic stay, completely misleading photos, and an overall terrible experience. Soon as we reached, the guy asked if I’d paid online. I said yes—that was the only option. He then started arguing: “How can we give the room for 600 rs? Take it for 1000.” Super arrogant. I asked to see the room—he agreed. It was disgusting. Nothing like the pictures. Looked like an apocalypse zone. Maybe once it matched the photos, now it’s a barely standing shithole. No maintenance, no cleaning. I wouldn’t even pay 300. I’ve stayed in dorms way better. Tap water tasted weird, sewage smell came in if windows were open. Balcony was full of pigeon poop. TV gone, just the stand left—probably sold off. Tried to cancel, Agoda said we could either stay at booked price or cancel if hotel agreed. Of course they didn’t. Nobody would book this if they knew what it actually looked like. This place either needs to shut down or charge 250 tops. And mind you, we’ve seen it all—it takes a lot to disappoint us. The photos are probably from another townhouse. Even for 634, felt overcharged. Disgusting stay. When I asked for water, he brought a sketchy used bottle and filled it from a can in front of me. Didn’t trust it—just kept it without stirring trouble, worried they might steal our laptops while we were out. In hindsight, not thieves—just desperate to make do and squeeze more out of customers. Asked for a towel—he said “morning.” In the morning, they asked us to check out by 10:30. Gave us a towel then—looked worse than what I clean my car with. We ran to our next booking to freshen up. Most people wouldn’t survive this stay.
