Good place to stay in Vythiri

We had stayed in the Royal plaza hotel for 3 days. The location of the hotel is good, right next to the main road. Ample parking was available. The kids enjoyed the kids play area and the pool. The Bed is the room was big and could easily accommodate 2 adults and 2 kids. The staff changed the linens and cleaned the room when asked. The quality of fitment in the room could be improved like Door lock, bathroom fittings etc

We were welcomed by an empty reception with a note to call a number which was unreachable. We waited a while to be attended. The 3 bedroom apartment was beautiful, the interiors were nice but the only downside was the cleanliness. It seems from the residual fruit flies roaming about that the room was not cleaned for many days and was cleaned only that morning. There was still a bad smell hovering in the apartment. The bedsheet and linens were dirty and looked like they hadnt been replaced after the previous check-out. They were though replaced after notifying the staff. The location is nice, close to the Vythiri farm - must visit and the honey museum. Better go to nearby resort if budget allows.
