Mr Jigmet and all of the staff are so friendly, welcoming and professional - a real family atmosphere. I was stranded there for several days with a. group as Leh airport was closed due to constant rain but Mr Jigmet did all he could do accommodate us.
Tip! There is the old part of the hotel where I initially had a semi deluxe room which is pretty basic and dated but the new part of the hotel I moved to (Deluxe double) is way beyond and very comfortable and smart. Definitely get one of these rooms if you can.

Great location - minutes from the main market and everything else. Rooms simple but comfortable (kettle, decent bathroom, good internet, hot water but no fridge and room not serviced between nights). Food average at best. Staff willing but many have no English.
