    My stay at Meghalaya was quite a disappointment. Despite being labeled as a 3-star accommodation, the overall experience didn't justify the price tag. The amenities provided were basic at best. So, I feel that it is overpriced for the services provided. Some troubles I faced in my room were leaking taps, old furniture.. the drawers in my room did not open at all, and the tv was ancient. On the positive side, the location was convenient and staff members were accommodating. It's clear that the hotel is in need of renovation to bring it up to par with the hospitality standards of the present times. Until then, I would advise potential guests to either reduce their expectations a little or explore other options in the area.
