    We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at Hotel Himalayan Retreat. The staff is extremely polite, humble, and cooperative, always ready to assist and ensure guests feel at home. Their warm hospitality truly made our stay memorable. The location of the hotel is excellent, with Mall Road located nearby, making it very convenient to explore Darjeeling. The rooms were clean, well maintained, and comfortable. Free Wi-Fi was available and worked well throughout our stay. We had booked a room with breakfast included, and the breakfast served was fresh, tasty, and satisfying. The staff also helped us arrange a cab for local sightseeing in Darjeeling, which made our travel smooth and completely hassle-free. Overall, the service, location, food, and hospitality exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend Hotel Himalayan Retreat to families and tourists looking for a peaceful stay with great service in Darjeeling. We would definitely choose this hotel again for our future visits.

    Holet team give room in basement beside restrurent. They changed 2000 extra for changing the room. They don't provide any dental kit and tea, coffee kit also not provided mineral water..... Only kitchen stuff behavior is good....

    We had a stay for 2 nights in the hotel and the experience was amazing

    This was hands down one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we checked in, everything went downhill. The room was poorly maintained, unhygienic, and nothing like what was shown in the pictures. Dirty linens, unpleasant odor, and broken fittings made the stay extremely uncomfortable. The staff was rude and completely unhelpful. Any complaint was met with excuses rather than solutions. Basic hospitality was missing, and customer service was almost non-existent. The food was equally terrible—limited options, poor quality, and definitely not worth the price. Overall, the hotel felt unsafe, unprofessional, and severely overpriced for the kind of service they provide. I would strongly advise others to stay away from this place. Save your money and choose literally any other hotel. This one is not worth the stress or disappointment
