    Positives vs. Negatives experienced: Positives: Location is "almost" good. However, there are places to stay in better locations. Negatives: Overpriced, consider the room and space. Did not have an air conditioner, which sometimes is necessary even in the cold. While ordering food on one night during the stay, food was not delivered even after an hour. So, called them again and found out that they had forgotten about it. And the food was delivered after ordering for the second time. During the stay, had dinner at the restaurant one day. Order came to the table but was not served. It was just put there and the waiter left. Being a 4 star hotel, as you say so, service at the table is expected. While asking another waiter "Do you guys not serve food here?", he casually replied "There are lot of customers now, so, can't serve." Okay, then just increase your staff by one or two members, at least during the crowded season. Before checking out, I cleared the dues at the reception and it was near to 2000 rupees. After leaving early the next morning, while moving from Darjeeling to Bagdogra Airport, I got a call and was told that there was another bill which needed to be cleared and it was around 900 rupees. I asked for the bill and QR to be sent on WhatsApp and that I would pay it after I reach the airport as there are network issues in the hilly terrains. After sending the bill and QR code, they called again. After a few minutes, I was called again but due to network issues couldn't hear anything. And during the third call, I told them that at least let me reach the airport or enter the plains for better internet connectivity. At this point, they wanted to know when I will reach the airport and were adamant on the payment to be done. Come on, I stayed there for three nights and paid approximately 30,000 rupees; I would not steal your 900 rupees. Really unprofessional for a 4 star hotel, which is what they call themselves. Really really disappointing.

    Please do not book room here if you are claustrophobic. Rooms does not have windows will make you feel suffocative. Room service is also not up to the mark. The hotel is also situated a bit far from market area . Not good for kids or senior citizen. Food quality is average. It is basically 2 star hotel with 5star tariff Highly disappointed

    I was staying at room 303 and someo other guest could open my door with her key of somw other room. It's sad that a four star hotel is this callous. Ideally they should have apologized and given me some compensation for the fact that every day of my stay here in this resort, my card key was not opening my own door but when I was in my room with my daughter, and we locked it from inside, some other guest barged in to our room by opening it with their keys. Unacceptable and I shall make sure this is known to everyone. I booked the most expensive room and this is the kind of safety this crappy resort offers and that too, to woman who is traveling with her teenage daughter! This is not a small thing. This is about safety. And I did feel unsafe here so I am going to make this known so that no woman ever visits this resort.
