    The approach road is a bit odd but overall the property is nice. The restaurant breakfast & dinner spread is also good

    Totally disappointed in rooms. Fridge don't work in any rooms. Causing medical issues as insulin needs fridge with cold temperature. Where as bottle of water was heated in the fridge and water was colder in the room. HOTEL MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO SERIOUSLY LOOK AT THE SET UP.. location is good but shame on service stet up.

    We stayed at The Fern Hotel, Bhimtal from 3rd April to 5th April with my husband and our 5-month-old baby. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing and far below expectations for a property claiming to be in the 4-star category. To begin with, the room size was surprisingly small, and the bathroom was equally compact, poorly maintained, and had an unpleasant odor throughout our stay. The overall cleanliness was unsatisfactory ,the floors were dusty, bedsheets appeared dirty, and even the blankets provided were not clean. The property maintenance was also very poor. There was visible dirt, dust, and fallen leaves across multiple areas, giving the hotel a neglected appearance. The swimming pool was also not maintained properly, as it contained leaves and appeared unclean. Staff behavior was another concern. The team was not particularly welcoming or professional, which further affected our experience. Although room service was responsive when called, this was the only slightly positive aspect of our stay. Regarding the food included in our package: * Breakfast was highly disappointing. Although the timing was communicated as 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM, when we arrived around 9:30 AM, most of the items were already finished. The staff did not refill the dishes, and the available options were very limited, more like a 1 or 2-star property. * Dinner quality was also poor in terms of taste and variety, which led us to dine outside on both evenings. Additionally, the actual property does not match the images shown online. The pictures appear misleading, and the room flooring looked outdated and unattractive, further diminishing the overall experience. Lastly, drinking water was provided in old thermos jugs that appeared unhygienic, which was disappointing for a hotel of this category. Overall, the stay did not meet our expectations, and we would not recommend this property based on our experience.
