    I am a regular visitor (once in 3 months) to Mysore and this is first time i booked Maurya Palace near to palace. Room and wash room were clean. To my surprise, they given new tooth brush, paste and shaving machine in washroom. Felt very nice though I had brought my own tooth brush and paste. But only thing which I felt outdated in room is TV is normal flat TV which had just set top box connection. If TV is smart TV with USB and Wifi option it would be nice. I used to carry my collection songs and movies in USB so I can see in TV, but this tv not had any USB port as it was very outdated TV. Every room had same kind of TV in this hotel. I request hotel management to use smart TV with wifi option and USB extender cable so guest can connect pen drive and watch movies without depending on internet

    I arrived at hotel on 12th September at 10.30pm for overnight stay booked through Agoda. When I arrived Hotel, they informed me that there were no booking under my name or under booking confirmation reference by Agoda email. I was disappointed and shown booking email confirmation. Then they gave a room. It was not clean. Within 2 minutes a SCORPION running in front of my eyes in the room. I called the receptionist to come up and see. They saw it and changed the room. This was the smallest room, unclean, and stayed just 12 hours. Room was downgraded without any refunds. It was an unpleasant stay. The Hotel didn’t have any parking facilities as they advertised. It’s all street parking only. The driver didn’t have any facilities as any other hotels offer common washroom. The review rating cannot be trusted. Your booking is unsure as happened to me. Will never trust the facilities stated.
