    we stayed at grand sharan and the stay was very comfortable with awesome hospitality. They even provide drop off facility to the start off point for the ascend to Vaishno Devi. I give 5star rating to them and i will again stay there and fully recommend to my friends and family

    The Hotel building looks grand & impressive from outside and the Lobby too reflects ambience.When me & my wife visited Katra, we found that the service left much to be desired whether room service or at the restaurant but management said that after the Indo-Pak skirmish they are short of staff which is the reason.But what can explain the Veg corn soup served to us not having corn ( or meagre so to say ) and chilly sauce etc. not being served with it? The Wifi was non functional for one whole day and again the reception on enquiry related same to a VIP visit. The Rooms are well furnished and the tariff does not burn your pocket.Cleanliness is there and Housekeeping is good.Restaurant can be better if given a more cheerful look through light colours - presently it gives sullen vibes.The Reception madam was generally very helpful and staff is courteous & polite.Overall the Hotel has good potential if managed in a better way.
