    The rooms have leaking walls, no hair dryer , sandals in the room. The food in the restaurant is overpriced with breakfast being very basic. Private parties are held in the resort and we are being restricted to take pictures of the scenery outside. A great disappointment and willnot book this resort again!

    This place offers a peaceful environment with good sleep quality, reliable Wi-Fi, and a lovely garden to relax in. Cleanliness is generally well maintained, although the facilities could use some improvement. The location is excellent, but shopping options nearby are limited. Staff service was average, and overall, it provides decent value for the money.

    180McIver is a heritage property alright. But it’s in dire need of repairs and renovation. Geysers are not working (pls remember it’s in a hill station and hot water is a basic requirement. We were provided muddy water in buckets!!!), the creaking flooring boards are coming off at places, carpets and upholstery is soiled and looks dirty, baby lizards crawling on floors, boundary grill broken allowing wild boars easy access, etc). I could go on but just because Kapoor & Sons was shot here cannot condone all the shortcomings of this place. To be fair, it’s a beautiful villa with spacious rooms and bathrooms but it’s old and dilapidated. Food is great, location excellent, views are nice, staff helpful (Shabbir and Phillip) - but sadly they can only do that much and no more. The owners need to get their act together soon, else 180McIver will crumble and go down in history quickly.
