Located approximately 1km away from Boat House. No nearby shops or activities nearby in walking distance. Rooms are comfortable, cozy with dining space, kettle and sofas. Breakfast spread is great. Staff is very helpful and courteous. Only problem: Dinner not available before 7:30pm and becomes a problem when travelling with kids. But after talking to service manager they took the order at 7pm itself and provided the dinner at 7:40pm sharp. Parking available right near the alotted villa.

We had a wonderful 4-night stay at Hotel Lakeview Ooty and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Staying in the individual cottages gave us a peaceful and comfortable experience, making the trip even more memorable. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly, courteous, and always ready to help. The buffet breakfast offered a good variety of options and was well prepared. We also enjoyed the dinner served at the property, which was tasty, hygienic, and of good quality. The property itself is quite large and beautifully located near Ooty Lake, providing a relaxing atmosphere and plenty of space to walk around. My family especially loved the surroundings and the overall ambiance. There is also ample parking space, which is very convenient for guests traveling by car. An added advantage is the small shop within the property where guests can buy snacks and essentials without having to step out. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and my family had a great time. We would definitely love to visit Hotel Lakeview Ooty again in the future. Rating: 5/5

Not at all upto the mark. We had booked two villas but when we arrived we were given one villa and one smaller room as 2nd villa was not available at that time and it was provided to us next day. Secondly, basic facilities which are expected with the room such as room heater are charged seperately and exorbitantly. Coming to recreational facilities, there is absolutely nothing. The resort doesn't even have a games room or gym which is totally unexpected and unacceptable nowadays. The rooms themselves are outdated. They call it the Lakeview but the Ooty lake is not at all visible. So overall not a hotel to be recommended at all.
