    Disappointing stay—great location, but the rooms are severely neglected I stayed at the Sea Green Hotel this past weekend. While the location is absolutely perfect—right opposite Marine Drive—and the parking facility is convenient, the hotel itself is highly disappointing and vastly overpriced. It feels like the management relies entirely on its prime location and does not care about maintaining the property. The Room: While spacious, it is incredibly old-fashioned and had a persistent, musty "closed-door" smell. The ancient AC unit made a loud, irritating noise all night, ruining our sleep. Furthermore, the AC leaked water directly onto the balcony, making the outdoor space completely unusable. The walls were in poor condition with visible black spots and deteriorating paint. The Washroom: The bathroom was in equally bad shape. Paint was literally peeling off the walls, and we encountered several small cockroaches during the night. The overall environment felt unhygienic and far from refreshing. Service & Food: Room service was actually quite good. The breakfast had a very limited selection and is served directly to your room rather than as a buffet. While the food tasted fine, you are much better off walking to the nearby fast-food corners for more variety. Verdict: Way too expensive for the poor state of the rooms. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

    Staying at the Hotel Sea Green is an experience defined by a wonderful sense of nostalgia and genuine warmth. While the property embraces an older architectural style that transports you back in time, it is meticulously maintained and impressively clean, offering a charm that modern, cookie-cutter hotels simply cannot replicate. The atmosphere is quiet and soulful, perfectly complemented by what is arguably one of the best views in all of Mumbai, where the endless expanse of the Arabian Sea meets the iconic curve of Marine Drive right outside your window. What truly elevates the stay, however, is the exceptional service provided by the team. The staff members are incredibly welcoming, treating guests with a level of hospitality that feels personal and sincere. I want to give a special mention to Laxman, whose attentiveness and dedication were truly standout. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was comfortable, embodying the heart and soul of the hotel’s excellent service culture. If you appreciate historic character, breathtaking scenery, and staff who treat you like family, this is the place to be.
