    Plenty of time I visited there. But they provided me the same room....which should be changed....except that Food, Staff & House keepers behavior is very good. Food is reasonable and good in quality...I propose and request others to visit this hotel whenever comes in Kolkata

    1. Property Contact Number mentioned in the Booking Confirmation is that of a person who has quit the job six years ago. This came to light when I arrived at the property, found that the lift was non-functional and dialed the number to enquire about the same. As there was no alternate number provided, after asking the Security Guard of an adjacent Restaurant, I was directed to the rear of the building to take the flight of stairs up to the fifth floor and later found out on reaching the fifth floor with my luggage that the lift was under maintenance. Maintenance of the lift should not have been carried out during day time when Guest Check-ins/Check-outs are bound to happen. Moreover, there should be a proper system in place informing the guest about the activity. How can the Guest be expected to carry their luggage through the flight of stairs? 2. Guest Room Amenities viz. Electric Kettle, Cup & Saucer along with Tea/Coffee/Milk/Sugar sachets must be provided - which is a bare minimum in hotel rooms now-a-days. 3. Flask in the room was found to be empty. RO Filtered Water must be provided so that the guest doesn't have to buy Bottled Water. 4. Must provide atleast one litre of branded Bottled Water - only 500 ml. Bottled Water was provided after my Check-in which is absolutely insufficient. 5. All Bathroom Fittings i.e Taps, Shower Head, Diverter, Angle Valves, Bottle Traps, Flanges etc. as well as Sanitaryware i.e Wash Basin and Water Closet must be replaced - modern shape and size must be considered while replacing. Taps in the Bathroom were difficult to operate, Wash Basin had an unsightly crack, Plastic Pipe in place of Bottle Trap was leaking whenever the Basin tap was used. Provide long nose Bib Cocks instead of short nose Bib Cocks since there is no gap between the water stream and Basin wall making it difficult to wash hands.
