The Sahil Hotel

Honestly, this was a very disappointing stay, especially considering the expectations and the amount of money paid. The breakfast was a major letdown. The menu was extremely limited and repetitive, with practically no variety. The non-vegetarian options were especially poor—just one item, apart from the live egg counter. At around ₹550 per person + gst , the breakfast was absolutely not worth the price. They also had a dosa counter, but even there the experience was disappointing. On the first day, I asked for a paper dosa, but the staff seemed to have no idea how a proper paper dosa should be prepared. What I received was a very thick dosa, which was nowhere close to a paper dosa. I had breakfast for two consecutive days—on the first day I paid separately, and on the second day it was included with the room. On the second day, I specifically told them to make the dosa thin. Instead, they literally burned it. When I pointed this out to the waiter, there was no proper response or apology whatsoever. This kind of attitude towards guests is extremely disappointing. Even the juices were not fresh. They were simply packaged/processed juices, which is another disappointment when you're paying ₹550 for breakfast at a hotel. At this price, I expected fresh juices and a much better breakfast spread. The room itself was neat and tidy, but the lack of privacy and soundproofing was terrible. I could clearly hear people in the hallway, doors opening and closing, and other noises throughout the night. It was so disturbing that I couldn't sleep properly. Basic sound insulation should be a standard expectation in a hotel. Another extremely disappointing issue was the drinking water provided in the room, which smelled horrible. We complained twice, yet nobody bothered to replace it. Eventually, we had to complain at the reception before they provided sealed bottled water. Having to repeatedly complain about something as basic as drinking water is simply unacceptable. The general hotel staff were helpful and courteous, but the breakfast/serving-area staff were particularly disappointing. They showed very little interest in helping guests, and when problems were brought to their attention, there was hardly any response. Overall, this hotel seriously needs to improve its service standards. The breakfast is overpriced, lacks variety, the food quality is inconsistent, basic guest complaints are ignored, and the rooms lack proper sound insulation. For the price being charged, I expected significantly better. Unfortunately, I left disappointed and would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.

Stayed for a business visit, this is near major offices around with decent pricing. Breakfast spread is okay with some fruits dosa and indian dishes. Rooms are bit smaller but overall had decent stay
