    This place is fabulous. You have to climb a hill with your bags, and up some stairs, then you are there. It's the kind of mild adventure that really reminds you that you are in a different place. This place is actually more of a serviced apartment/hotel experience, and many of the rooms comes with fully functional kitchens and a studio apartment set up. It's not spacious, what space it does have is set up well. And anyone who's stayed at a 3 or 4 star HK hotel knows that getting four pillow on the bed is a luxuary that most do not afford, but this place does. The Wifi is individual to each room, and so it is steady and strong, and the TV is a smart TV, which is extremely convenient. My only caveat is that I was traveling on business, and this place only has two elevators, and they are very VERY slow and the stairs in this hotel are very VERY steep, so I wouldn't recommend if you need to show up anywhere fresh and put together in a hurry. Outside of that, I would absolutely stay here again as a tourist.

    The hotel location in Wan Chai is unbeatable with excellent transport options nearby, making it easy to explore the area. The room size was comfortable and the bathroom modern and well-maintained. Facilities were top-notch, adding to a pleasant stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, but overall cleanliness could be improved. Good value for money considering all these factors.

    I rarely leave reviews, but I want to clearly document why my experience was disappointing, especially as a Platinum member. There were 2 key issues: 1) Agoda room-type discrepancy and refusal of adequate refund Agoda mixed up my booking details from Ying Studio to Studio. Ying Studio is the only newly renovated room in the entire 24-floor building (including the lobby standard) with colourful aesthetics and the intended green view. If I had been booked into the old Studio with an unsuitable building pipe view, I would not have stayed at this price nor booked anything at all for my celebration. Agoda admitted this was their mistake, but you refuse to refund more than 30%, which is not an adequate remedy for receiving a materially different room standard and location/view. 2) Hotel condition and hygiene at this price point Check-in was smooth, but the hotel requires a climb (especially frustrating on a heavy rainy day). More importantly, the Studio rooms are extremely old and dirty. My bed sheet and hand towel had stains, which is unacceptable for the price I paid. The kitchen is well equipped (which is why I booked), but you should definitely bring your own condiments. I also appreciated the two aircons for comfort and noted that the lobby is the best part of the property. However, the rest of the building does not match that standard at all. Please book with caution.
