    This is something to think about. No taxi would like to go uphill and it’s a challenge with luggage. Rethink this.

    Hotel location is good, although a little challenging if you have big luggages since most cars/taxis dont go up to the hotel front, it will be a challege to go up and down pulling big luggages. Stairs and road can be a little slippery during rainy season. Room is adequate and induction cooktop is available in case you want to cook your own food. Wan Chai market is also nearby. Bed is comfortable, pastries and coffee is complimentary for breakfast.

    This place is fabulous. You have to climb a hill with your bags, and up some stairs, then you are there. It's the kind of mild adventure that really reminds you that you are in a different place. This place is actually more of a serviced apartment/hotel experience, and many of the rooms comes with fully functional kitchens and a studio apartment set up. It's not spacious, what space it does have is set up well. And anyone who's stayed at a 3 or 4 star HK hotel knows that getting four pillow on the bed is a luxuary that most do not afford, but this place does. The Wifi is individual to each room, and so it is steady and strong, and the TV is a smart TV, which is extremely convenient. My only caveat is that I was traveling on business, and this place only has two elevators, and they are very VERY slow and the stairs in this hotel are very VERY steep, so I wouldn't recommend if you need to show up anywhere fresh and put together in a hurry. Outside of that, I would absolutely stay here again as a tourist.

    The experience is super disappointing. 1. Staff at hotel told me that taxi can arrive at the hotel as I am unable to walk up hill. Taxi won't get there and uber does not recognise the hotel's location so you have to climb up and down the hill with your luggages. It is very problematic for people with disability. 2. The hotel is not clean. While the photos seem clean, I saw a chewed gum in the shower area when I was showering. Absolutely horrifying. 3. The room itself is not clean - the floor skirting is dirty, the bathroom fan is filled with dust. I almost wanted to leave in the middle of the night - but then I remembered I had to roll the luggage down the hill again in the rain so I gave up that idea. 4. I spent half a day looking for the hair dryer - I didn't wash my hair as I thought there isn't a hair dryer available. It wasn't in the bathroom but the next morning I found it somewhere in the closest, I wish there were some instructions. 5. There's no plug near the bed so I had to leave my phone charging somewhere in the usb port. They had 2 ports, one of which wasn't working. It was overall a terrible experience and while I originally requested a late check out as I arrived at around 1am - I ended up waking at 7 the next morning and leaving immediately. If I could request a refund I would. I specifically told them I couldn't walk up hill but was told cars could stop there. The only thank you was to the hotel staff who rolled my suitcase down to the bottom of the hill for me in the morning and checked on me every step I made as I appeared sleep deprived and not well. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel and I do not say that lightly.
