    We got a budget rate for this place and the experience matched the price. There are only 4 elevators for the 38floor building so you can expect to wait a while. Lobby is also on the 5th fl, but check-in and check-out services were pretty efficient. A no frills place to lay your head down and explore a wonderful city.

    I booked this hotel for an important business trip, but my stay was completely disrupted due to unacceptable room conditions and a total failure of on-site service. Upon check-in, the room failed basic hygiene, cleanliness, and lighting standards, making it impossible to work or stay. I immediately went to the front desk on my first night to request a room change. The staff flatly denied my request, claiming that "all rooms are the same" and offering zero assistance. With no solution provided on-site, my business schedule was severely impacted. I had no choice but to check out early and secure alternative accommodation at my own expense to fulfill my professional obligations. When I returned to collect my luggage, the hotel management acknowledged this exact failure. The Duty Manager explicitly wrote to me via email: "We regret that our front desk team's response last night did not address your concern immediately, which led to your dissatisfaction and re book another hotel." Despite the hotel management admitting in writing that their staff failed to help me and directly forced me to relocate, a refund has been completely refused based on a "non-refundable" policy. Instead, I was offered an upgrade for a future trip to Hong Kong—expecting me to spend thousands more just to get the baseline service I already paid for. A non-refundable policy shouldn't protect a business that delivers a defective room and refuses to fix it on-site.
