    We loved our stay in this hotel. It was easy to find. It was a bit far from the MTR, but if you don’t mind walking then it is totally fine. The staff was accommodating and helpful. They also provide scheduled bus that goes around the tourist spots.

    Located strategically in the city, breakfast is simple, I love the coffee and the porridge. McD is just across the hotel and many small restaurants and convenient stores within walking distant. It takes sometimes to arrive from Olympic station, need to walk through 'not smooth' section, therefore, better to use airport transfer to protect the luggages. They have shuttle bus to bring you near to the all sight seeing places. Hotel is clean, they even clean the seat on the lobby regularly. The only problem is, the room is small but I think we have no options, this is Hongkong.

    Firstly, let me start with the positive things about the hotel. The hotel was easy to find and there are many restaurants opposite the hotel, including a McDonald’s and 7-11. The sheltered walkway to Olympic station was convenient too. The concierge staff was very helpful and friendly. Shower was good. Now on to the negative. The room had hair and used tissue when we first went in and there was a red stain on one side of the bed. We did not make a fuss and just leave it as it was. The next day when me and my mom came back from breakfast, the housekeeping lady greeted us and asked us for our room number. We told her and she insisted on coming to clean our room even though we are still tired from the night before and wanted to rest. We politely declined but she followed us to our room and insisted that she change our towels and vacuum the floor. We felt very uncomfortable and had to avoid her for the rest of our stay (because the same thing happened the next day, but we kept our ground and declined housekeeping.). At around noon on the same day, my mom went downstairs to wait for the shuttle bus while I finish up getting ready. There were a few knocks on the door and someone entered my room without waiting for an answer! A man came into my room and asked if I was checking out, when I said no, he apologised and said he had seen the wrong room number. I felt very uncomfortable and harassed during my stay in Dorsett Mongkok. I had high expectation because Dorsett is a well known hotel chain and I have stayed at Dorsett in other countries with immaculate hospitality. Please educate your staff! Sadly, I don’t think I would recommend or return to Dorsett Mongkok.
