    The location is unbeatable, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the rooftop views were a highlight. The only minor issue was hearing the main sliding door from the first floor, but overall it was an excellent stay.

    Location could not be better. Restaurant menu was awful. Had to send drink back…tasted horrible. Waiter asked what was wrong with it…really! We booking a room on the upper floor that had a picture window view of the Acropolis which was lighted at night and a king bed. We go a tiny room with twin beds and a view into the apartment windows. Staff was slow and service was non existent. Very disappointed. Location was the only positive.

    We were a first time visitor to Athens and the location of Herodion Hotel was ideal. The Acropolis South Entrance was a 3 minute walk and the museum is also a 2 minute walk. The area around the hotel is quiet and the rooftop restaurant with a view of the Acropolis and Pantheon were incredible. The 2 sauna pools with views of the Acropolis were refreshing. The rooms were typical European size rooms and the breakfast had a great offering. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They filled our water in the morning and when my son left his airpods in his room when we checked out, they were very helpful in getting them back.

    I stayed at the Herodion hotel for one night at the end of my trip. The first hotel I stayed at a short distance away was booked so I settled for the Herodion and I truly do mean settled. The main selling points are the lobby and proximity to the acropolis / acropolis view other than that the hotel is very outdated and not worth the price.The staff was okay. Nothing memorable about the stay other than how outdated the entire place was with exception to the aforementioned attractions.
