    After hiking 20km on the camino, we couldnt have come across an unfriendlier receptionist to receive us. As a result, we decided we didn’t want to have breakfast here and to add to this there is no kettle provided in the room. However, a small saving grace was that the receptionist upon check out was hospitable and nice.

    We are writing to express our disappointment about recent stay. When we checked in, we found the room in an unacceptable condition, which caused an inconvenience after a long journey. We had to wait in the corridor while they were trying to clean the room. The strongest issue was that the room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, making it impossible to stay in. In addition, the room did not include basic amenities that we would expect from a hotel of this standard, such as slippers, a bathrobe, and other essentials. Overall, the experience did not meet the level of quality and comfort promised. I hope you take this feedback seriously.

    Room was clean, in good condition with quiet effective air-conditioning and separate sofa area. Only few minutes walk to key restaurant area and river. Lovely to stay in such old building.

    We paid Agoda for our stay. The hotel charges us over a month later for the same stay. I reached out to Parador several times with no response or resolution. Chase credit card investigated and said that Agoda did not pay Parador, so Parador charged us directly in addition to Agoda charging us. Agoda and Parador did not resolve this business relationship issue between themselves and instead punished the customer. Agoda said they would resolve, then went silent and they are not responding. I would not use Agoda ever again and I would not stay at the Parador for this reason. Terrible customer service and Agoda is a scam. Read the reviews from others.
