    I booked the Louis Hotel as part of my honeymoon trip and was very pleasantly surprised by the modern decor and the welcoming staff! It was also the first hotel we stayed at who bothered to decorate our room to celebrate our honeymoon and also gave us full access to the mini bar , which was such a kind and thoughtful treat. The breakfast is absolutely amazing with a large spread and variety (39 euros for breakfast per person and they kindly let us order whatever was on the delicious menu) and we definitely had the best pretzel and weisswurst sausages at the breakfast. I wish I had the opportunity to have the breakfast a few more times! The location was also excellent, extremely central and we could walk anywhere (including to all the museums) - the only place we had to travel out for was the BMW museum but the hotel is situated just next to Marienplatz station as well, so it’s very convenient. My only gripes would be that the room is a little small (because the shower and toilet areas are quite big) and there are only a few hangers in the cupboard. Overall a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend to stay here and will return here if I visit Munich again. The staff were the warmest people we encountered in Munich — also wanted to thank the lovely elderly man who brought us to our room and explained everything to us in detail as well. (And also took the effort to chat to us whenever he met us in the lobby etc.)

    A very nice upscale design hotel at the heart of Marienplatz. Convinience location 1 minute walk to Marienplatz and Viktulienmarkt. Unbeatable atmosphere Room is very homy.... not pretentious luxury.... but down to earth upscale home feel.
